Under the direction of the Lending Director, ensure consumer and business lending policies and procedures best serve the credit union and its members.  Develop, recommend and implements lending policies, procedures and products.  Acts as the primary person for loan training and lending audits. Manage the day-to-day operation of the consumer, mortgage and business lending departments.  Ensure compliance with state and federal lending laws.  Monitor and analyze economic conditions affecting collections, loan department and loan portfolio performance, and recommend appropriate action.

Director of Member Experience

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
Sunbelt Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Laurel, MS, is seeking a Director of Member Experience.  Under the direction and supervision of the CEO, leads and manages Member Services and My Teller Plus (MTP) operations to insure they each meet or exceed sales, service and operational goals as assigned. Participate in business development and community outreach events to establish a presence and drive new member relationships.  Interacts professionally with senior management, department managers, and other employees within the Credit Union. Coaches and develops staff in accordance with Credit Union Philosophy and vision.  Enforce strict adherence to established policies and procedures by all.  Have the ability to assist in training employees and be able to explain products’ and/or services and their values, benefits, features, rates and fees to members, while maintaining the highest quality of member service.

Ensure the Member Services and MTP teams represent the credit union in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner.  Gives prompt, efficient, and accurate service in the processing of all transactions. Stays current with credit union membership requirements, deposit products, services, loan products, and marketing campaigns.

Must be willing to drive to Laurel, MS during training period and until the new Operations Center opens in Hattiesburg, MS. Projected to open Late September or early October 2019.
