Consumer Alert
The Mississippi Credit Union Association (MSCUA) is the trade association for credit unions in Mississippi.  MSCUA does not collect personal consumer financial information and would NEVER request personal information in a text message, phone call, email, or fax.
Known as "phishing," unsolicited contact requesting account and pin numbers is almost always an attempt at financial fraud.
Do not respond to a text message, email or phone call that 1) "appears" to be from a bank, credit union or other business, 2) claims your "card" or "account" has a problem, needs verification, unlocking or some other urgent action; and 3) asks you to provide full card/account numbers and pin numbers.
