The Mississippi Managers Association (MMA) provides credit union leaders an excellent platform to share information about the experiences, challenges and triumphs faced in managing a credit union.  It is a “support group,” designed by and fueled by credit union professionals.

Among the benefits of membership are training opportunities, offered in conjunction with the MSCUA Annual Meeting and Convention, as well as educational scholarship opportunities for members.  The goal of the Managers Association is to help members grow professionally!

MMA annual membership dues are $50 for the first person from your credit union and $25 per person for each additional person.  Membership dues are typically submitted annually at the time of MSCUA membership dues.  To join the Mississippi Managers Association or if you have a question about your membership status, please contact .

Goggles, Fight Club, and One Evil Dentist: Killing Burnout at Your CU and in Your Career, Presented by Andy Janning

Leading and working for a credit union is a tough job. As much as we try to power through all of the challenges on our to-do list, we don’t always feel up to the task. Our motivation lags.  Our focus fades.  We start to question whether or not our work really matters. We start to succumb to burnout at a time when our credit union, our industry, and our family need us at our best.

In this inspirational keynote, Andy Janning will take you on a deep and funny dive into the very real - and very misunderstood - phenomenon of burnout, how it defeats your strategic business goals before they get launched, and how three very unlikely sources can burnout-proof your career, your life, and your organization!
