VP of Lending

The ideal candidate will have significant lending, management, and regulatory experience. The VP of Consumer Lending will be responsible for spearheading lending programs and campaigns, improving efficiencies and communication amongst different departments and branches, and constantly exploring ways to improve our loan volume. The VP of Consumer Lending is responsible for ensuring attainment of annual and quarterly consumer lending growth/retention goals of the credit union. ACH/Share Draft Coordinator

Mortgage Loan Officer

Navigator Credit Union is looking for a full time MORTGAGE LOAN OFFICER.  This position is located in Mobile, AL.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Perform all facets of the mortgage origination process; including but not limited to processing, ordering underwriting documentation, approval, denial and closing; Cross sell loan products;  Prepare records and reports as requested and Provide the Loan Committee with additional information as required.

EXPERIENCE:  Three years to five years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.

EDUCATION:  High school diploma required.  College degree preferred.

SPECIFIC SKILLS:  Knowledge of lending principles including Navigator Credit Union policies and procedures, State and Federal regulations affecting mortgage loans, Fannie Mae’s origination guidelines and pricing structure. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Audits the accounting and statistical data of various departments, divisions, and locations in order to verify accuracy. Audits the activities of various departments for compliance with plans, policies and procedures prescribed by management. Determines proper accountability of assets through physical count, inventory and confirmation. Prepares and submits reports on the results of audits, recommending improvements in policies and procedures. Audits accounting records of contractors regarding agreements where the company is a party of interest. Cooperates with outside auditors in any undertaking that might expedite their work.

EDUCATION:  College degree in related area preferably Accounting or Finance.

Director of Shared Branching

Senior Member Service Rep/Loan Officer
