Accounting Manager/Controller

MUNA FCU in Meridian has announced its search for a new Accounting Manager/Controller.  This position will be charged with managing the credit union’s financial management and payment systems activities; including oversight of all financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, asset liability management, investments and product profitability.

Additional responsibilities will include the oversight of all payment processing operations including ACH, ATM, checks, cards, wires, remote deposits, and shared branching.  Reporting to the CEO, this position will be a key player on the organization’s leadership team in developing strategy and driving execution of key initiatives.

A minimum of 3-5 years in a financial leadership role with functionally broad, diverse experience within a credit union or community bank along with a bachelor’s degree is required.

Operations Manager

Job Summary
Assist the Chief Operations Officer and Assistant Vice President of Operations, while overseeing the Operations functions for four branches of the Credit Union.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in managing and monitoring branch activity including teller transactions, internal audits, scoreboards and cross sell activity.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of policies for the Operations ensuring compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
  • Oversee the Individual Retirement Account program and ensure accuracy of reporting.
  • Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports as assigned.

Facilities Coordinator

Job Summary
Assists the Vice President with the day to day maintenance of facilities, supply management and oversee installation of Credit Union digital equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Address and resolve Facilities issues (e.g. plumbing, lights etc.)
  • Deliver mail and/or equipment to branch locations as needed
  • Assess and report on janitorial issues
  • Maintain inventory records of furniture and other non-technical equipment
  • Install and uninstall electronic devices on Credit Union property
  • Purchase, organize and distribute supplies for all branch locations
  • Communicate with vendors to complete facility issues
