Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify members' loans and savings needs and provide solutions
- Articulate to members the benefits and features of Credit Union products and services
- Establish new member accounts and relationships
- Accurately process loan and deposit documents in accordance with underwriting guidelines

- Interview loan applicants and process application to completion

Director of Collections (Gautier)

DEPARTMENT: Collections/Payment Services Gautier, Mississippi
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: The Director of Collections is responsible for overseeing the collection and recovery strategy of the credit union. This person needs to be knowledgeable at the operational level while maintaining a strategic mindset to ensure that company goals are being reached. This position will have full responsibility for all internal collections and outside 3rd party collections suppliers and their results. Additionally, the Director of Collections will manage debt sales and debt buyers, ensuring regulatory compliance in the process. The Director of Collections will also be responsible for the policy and procedural accountability for collections and recoveries. Furthermore, this position will work closely with corporate entities related to collections and develop/foster positive relationships with all corporate and business operations; Lead the credit & collections team to continually achieve operational excellence and drive continuous improvement for collections, customer service and process improvements while managing the total delinquency cycle ranging from past due collection calling, skip tracing, outside collection agency coordination, debt sales and litigation activity.
EXPERIENCE: Five to ten years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
