Risk Analyst (Monticello)

Under the direction of the President, CEO, serve as the administrator of the Credit Union’s overall compliance and risk program.  Be ensuring that the credit union maintains adequate credit, market and operational risk and ensuring that the credit union is in full compliance with the rules, regulations, internal policies and procedures.  This is accomplished through implementation of a Compliance and Risk Management Program and performance of the primary duties listed below.  Serves as an advisor to Management in the areas of risk and makes recommendations to reduce risk exposure in the areas of asset, liability, credit, operational and compliance.  While being conscious of streamlining efforts, cost effectiveness, safety and soundness, and proper maintenance of the internal control structure. This position will require prior experience (5-10 years) in the financial industry – credit union experience preferred.  Broad knowledge of, and practical experience with, credit union or other financial institution operating areas, functions, products and services and the laws and regulations which apply to credit unions.

Payment Solutions Coordinator (Monticello)

Manage day-to-day human resource functions of the credit union; administer and monitor human resource programs and ensure compliance with credit union policies as well as external rules and regulations. Participate in developing department systems, goals, and objectives. Manage department staff; provide staff and managers with an effective resource for resolution of employee relations issues.

Responsibilities & Duties
Keep abreast of changing trends or regulations and react quickly to incorporate those changes into the credit union; implement and annually update compensation program, rewrite job descriptions as necessary, conduct and review annual salary surveys and recommend revisions as necessary; help develop, recommend, and implement personnel policies and procedures.  Update job knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities; reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizations.  Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws

Required Skills
Broad generalist background including coaching and counseling, performance management, employee involvement, teambuilding, as well as compensation and benefits; thorough knowledge of HR principles and federal/local regulations; exceptional project and personnel management skills, excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment; proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Power Point is essential; exhibit extraordinary discretion, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with our senior management team; ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality

Preferred Education:  Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Experience:  5+ years as a teller and at least 2 of those in a head teller or senior teller position with supervisory responsibilities.

Skills:  Able to effectively supervise employees, strong verbal and written communication skills, highly organized, detail oriented.

The Head Teller is responsible for supervising and taking the lead on all functions of the Teller Department.  The Head Teller must ensure that the daily responsibilities of the Tellers are conducted timely, accurately, and professionally at all times.
